                         This post describes how to install ESXi 6.0 on bare metal   Step 1: Connect to the ILO(HP)/IMM(IBM)/CIMC(Cisco)/DRAC(Dell) console of the host. Step 2: Mount the ESXi 6.0 ISO image to the host Step 3: Power-On the host hardware and allow the host to boot from the ISO image.   Step 4: The boot process will begin with the Boot Menu and progress to the Loading ESXi screen. Step 5: Wait for the “Welcome to VMware ESXi 6.0.0 Installation” message to appear. Detaching Datastore From ESXi Host

                This post describes how to detach datastore/LUN from ESXi host   Step 1:- Make a note of UID/Device ID of datastore to be removed Step 2:- Select the ESXi host from Datastore needs to be removed Step 3: Go to Configuration Tab on the right side Pane Step 4: Select the storage Tab Step 5: Select the Datastore to be removed Note : -1. Ensure that Datastore getting removed is empty and no VMs/ Vmdk’s/Swap files residing on it.            2. DHCP Migration

This article explains steps to migrate DHCP from windows 2003 to windows 2008 R2 1) Install DHCP role on windows 2008 R2 server (Target server where you want to migrate DHCP) 2) Go to Windows 2003 server ( Source server) and run below command to export DHCP data netsh dhcp server export "file name" all 3) Copy exported file from source server to target server 4) Import all data on target server by running below command    netsh dhcp server import "file name" all 5) After importing all data verify the scops and reservations at target server 6) Authorize new DHCP server 7) Stop DHCP service on source server
